Staying creative around the clock.

Before I designed software, I painted, printed, and photographed. I still do. Paint, cyanotypes, prints, charcoal, and pixels, to name a few. It's where I play, experiment, and find joy. And it taught me most of what I know about color, composition, and telling a story.

Why it matters

Making art made me a better designer.

A cyanotype teaches patience. A figure drawing teaches you to look before you draw. A print teaches you to plan every layer before you pull it. I bring that same care for color, composition, and craft to every product I design.
